NURS 0101 - Introduction to Professional Nursing

Introduces the beginning student to the nursing profession, providing both an historical perspective and a focus on the current state of the nursing profession and its alignment with the most recent trends in healthcare. Topics will include introduction to nursing informatics with a focus on acquiring and ethically using obtained knowledge and an introduction to the resources that are available to nursing students to assure their success.
