NURS 0210 - Current Principles of Professional Nursing


Credits: 4

Examines the underlying theoretical concepts and expands on prior knowledge and skills from the sciences and the humanities. The core focus is on utilizing the nursing process and evidence based practice to provide quality, individualized, compassionate, and safe care to adult and older adult patients and their families. Competency in the use of basic nursing skills and health teaching are key elements integrated into the clinical laboratory setting.  2 hours of classroom and 6 hours of SimLab/Clinical are required.

Prerequisites: BIOL 0239  and NURS 0200 .
