NURS 0320 - Nursing Care of Women and Children

Credits: 7

Focuses on nursing interventions to support the holistic health needs of women and children from conception to mid-life. The course will stress the use of critical thinking skills to meet the physiological and psychological needs of emerging families and will provide opportunities to care for these clients in different venues across the wellness-illness continuum. 3 hours of classroom and 12 hours SimLab/clinical are required.

Prerequisites: NURS 0310  and NURS 0315 .
