NURS 0315 - Psychiatric Nursing

Credits: 5

Focuses on the provision of nursing intervention to clients experiencing mental health issues. In addition to theoretical and clinical exposure to a broad range of psychiatric conditions, the connection of mind-body, the importance of coping skills and stress management will be explored. Interpersonal skill development and clinical decision making with this population will be emphasized.

Prerequisites: NURS 0300 .
