PADM 0640 - The Regional Economy of New England

This course introduces students to the economy and geography of New England with a focus on the major historical shifts in economic and social structure. Attention is paid to the changing relation of New England's economy to the national and global economy. The course emphasizes the problems and opportunities presented by current economic trends as they impact public sector management. This course will count as an elective for both the Public Management and the Non-Profit Management concentrations within the M.P.A. program.
