PAS 0620 - Cardiology

The Cardiology Course provides comprehensive and integrated instruction of the evaluation and treatment of the patient with cardiovascular disorders. This approach provides instruction in scientific concepts pertaining to the cardiovascular system; patient interviewing and physical exam skills; disorders of the cardiac system; and the treatment required for patient centered appropriate care expected of a physician assistant. Students will learn the critical thinking and decision-making process for diagnosing; evaluating and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in faculty guided small simulation learning groups.
