PAS 0628 - Musculoskeletal Medicine

The Musculoskeletal Course provides comprehensive and integrated instruction of the evaluation and treatment of the patient with musculoskeletal disorders. This approach provides instruction in scientific concepts pertaining to the musculoskeletal system; patient interviewing and physical exam skills; disorders of the musculoskeletal system; and the treatment required for patient centered appropriate care expected of a physician assistant. Students will learn the critical thinking and decision-making process for diagnosing; evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal disease in faculty guided small simulation learning groups.
