PAS 0635 - Nephrology

The Nephrology Course provides comprehensive and integrated instruction of the evaluation and treatment of the patient with renal disorders. This approach provides instruction in scientific concepts pertaining to the renal system; patient interviewing and physical exam skills; disorders of the renal system; and the treatment required for patient centered appropriate care expected of a physician assistant. Students will learn the critical thinking and decision-making process for diagnosing; evaluating and treating patients with renal disease in faculty guided small simulation learning groups.
