This course examines budgeting processes at the national, state, and local levels, and explores the political dynamics that are involved in holding government officials accountable for the management of taxpayer funds. As more than half of federal government spending goes to grants and contracts, this course will benefit students interested in careers in the non-profit and private sectors, as well as in government.
