LSPA 0321 - Topics in Spanish Language Cinema

Explores and examines films of the Spanish-speaking world. Includes films representing diverse regions, genres, directors, and movements of the Hispanic world. Students will analyze film as cultural, historical, political, and economic products of represented nations, regions, and groups. Goals for language mastery associated with this course are those associated with the ACTFL Intermediate High/Advanced Low level. This course may be taken a second time, provided the topic is different.

Prerequisites: LSPA 0215  or permission of instructor.
