PSYC 0374 - Capstone Experience: Health of Vulnerable Populations

Through discussion, readings, films, and writing, students in this Capstone Experience (CE) course explore the influence of socio-cultural beliefs and perceptions on health behaviors and the use of health services in the medical field. In addition, students will consider various ways in which race, ethnicity, gender, age, language, education, and social class are related to the delivery of, and opportunities to facilitate, health care to the most vulnerable.

Prerequisites: PSYC 0311  or permission of instructor. Senior standing required.
