Occupational Therapy Assistant Practice I is the first in a series of four courses focusing on foundational aspects of occupational therapy practice. Within this course, students will learn about occupational therapy heritage, philosophy of the profession, core values, and code of ethics. The current practice framework will be explored as students define the unique value of OT and principles that guide practice. Students will acquire foundational skills for activity and task analysis.
