Crosslisted: Occupational Therapy Assistant Practice III is the third in a series of four courses focusing on foundational aspects of occupational therapy practice. Students will develop skills in identifying an appropriate treatment approach for varying settings and clientele through the use of evidence-based frameworks. Principles of teaching, learning, assistive technology, health literacy, communication, and group process will be explored so students are prepared to meet the needs of individuals, groups, and populations.

Prerequisites: Permission of the OTA Program Director
HESC 0225 OTA Practice II with a minimum grade of B.
