Occupational Therapy Assistant Practice IV is the fourth in a series of four courses focusing on foundational aspects of occupational therapy practice. Students will learn about the administrative aspects to OT services including management, state practice acts, marketing, reimbursement for services, and advocacy. Leadership skills and professional behaviors necessary for practice will be explored. Students will establish study plans in preparation for the OTA board exam and develop lifelong learning plans for continued competency in practice.

Prerequisites: Permission of the OTA Program Director
HESC 0325 OTA Practice III with a minimum grade of B.
