HESC 0395 - OTA Baccalaureate Project

The baccalaureate project will give students the opportunity to learn deeply about a topic of interest related to OTA practice. With the guidance of a faculty mentor, students will investigate a topic related to clinical practice skills, administration, leadership, advocacy, or education (ACOTE, 2018, D.1.0.). Through this experience, students will demonstrate competency in the area of interest with a focus on identifying positive change for person, group, or population health.

Prerequisites: Permission of the OTA Program Director

Minimum of a 3.0 Cumulative GPA

All B.S. Health Science Degree and OTA Concentration Requirements Completed with the exeption of HESC 0390, HESC 0391, and HESC 0395
