EDUC 0563 - Students on the Autism Spectrum

This course provides participates with an introduction to autism and neurodiversity and a grounding in the neurodiversity paradigm. The course will address evidence-based practices to prepare educators to support the complex needs of students with autism and their families in educational settings. This course is aligned with the department's commitment to Building Community and Reflective Practice.  This graduate course is cross-listed with EDUC 0383 and is differentiated by assignments, learning outcomes and expectations at an advanced level.
