GPS 0107 - Climate Change

This course explores the complex problems associated with global climate change: the science, the impacts, and the solutions. Part 1 of the course focuses on the science of climate change, including the physics of the greenhouse effect and the processes of climate change (both natural- and human-caused). Part 2 revolves around the local and global impacts of climate change, including vulnerabilities, risks, and issues of environmental justice. Part 3 of the course explores climate change solutions such as mitigation, adaptation, resilience, sustainability, and renewable energy.
