HIST 0263 - U.S. Women's HistoryCredits: 3 This course explores women's history in the United States from the 1700s to the present. Topics of discussion emphasize the diversity of women's experiences, and may include issues related to European, African-American, Native American, Asian-American, Latina, Jewish, and lesbian history. Regarding these topics, students in this course will discuss the changing ideas about women's roles in society; social, legal, economic, and civil rights movements; sexuality; family; reproduction; and women and work. |
