MUSC 0206 - Piano Skills II

The second of a three-semester sequence of courses designed to develop practical piano skills for the career musician as a tool for teaching, studying and learning scores, music direction, songwriting, composing, and as a prerequisite to the development of performance-level skills as a pianist. While a continuation toward fluency of the skills developed in level one, this course adds exercises in keyboard harmony, improvisation, score reading and transposition.

Prerequisites: MUSC 0152 or permission of instructor.
