MUSC 0290 - Disability in Music TherapyCredits: 2 Disability in Music Therapy explores lived and first-hand experiences of disability across the lifespan within the context of music, aesthetics, and wellbeing. Designed around discovery and self-reflexivity, this course encourages students to critically examine what it means to engage in music therapy with disabled folks. Students explore topics from disability studies, intersecting priorities for health and wellbeing of disabled persons, and music therapy within specialized service delivery settings. |
