MUSC 0389 - Clinical Improvisation I: Principles and TechniquesCredits: 2 Experiential course exploring the theory and practice of clinical improvisation in music therapy. Students learn and apply therapeutic improvisation techniques using acoustic and electronic instruments, laying a foundation for in-depth clinical work in a variety of clinical settings. Emphasizes the therapeutic relationship in clinical improvisation. Prerequisites: MUSC 0193, MUSC 0293, MUSC 0157, and MUSC 0235. Corequisite: MUSC 0395 or MUSC 0397. |
