MUSC 0389 - Clinical Improvisation I: Principles and TechniquesCredits: 2 Experiential course exploring the theory and practice of clinical improvisation in music therapy. Students learn and apply therapeutic improvisation techniques using acoustic and electronic instruments, laying a foundation for in-depth clinical work in a variety of clinical settings. Emphasizes the therapeutic relationship in clinical improvisation. Prerequisites: MUSC 0193 , MUSC 0293 , MUSC 0157 , and MUSC 0235 . Corequisite: MUSC 0395 or MUSC 0397 . |
