Occupational Therapy Assistant Practice II is the second in a series of four courses focusing on foundational aspects of occupational therapy practice. In this course, students will begin to explore the important concepts of therapeutic use of self, clinical reasoning, and safe ethical decision making. The OTA scope of practice will be further studied with topics of context, process, supervision, and professional collaboration. Students will develop skills in professional documentation and data reporting.

Prerequisites: Permission of the OTA Program Director

HESC 0125   OTA Practice I with a minimum grade of B.
