This advanced practicum is designed to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for independent practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In part three, students engage in comprehensive and independent clinical practice under the supervision of experienced preceptors. The focus is on refining advanced diagnostic and treatment planning skills, managing complex psychiatric cases, and demonstrating autonomy in decision-making.
