ATTR 0642 - Seminar IV in Athletic Training

This course guides students to think about, and address, communication skills, critical thinking, and factors influencing evidence-based practice in athletic training settings. Students will engage in discussions and simulated patient encounters with each other, and with experts in the field topics. These topics will include but not be limited to psychosocial, cultural, professional, and interpersonal impacts on athletic training practice support for successfully completing program requirements. Earning professional Athletic Training certification will be discussed throughout the course. This course is a continuation of Seminar III.

Prerequisites: Acceptance into Level IV of Professional Phase of the Athletic Training Program.
