GPS 0101 - World Regional GeographyCredits: 3 This course introduces students to Earth's spectacular diversity through the study of its major cultural regions and realms. Students learn about the many geographic factors that shape Earth's diversity such as language, religious traditions, architecture and cities, agriculture and food systems, environmental problems, and economic development. Students develop their awareness of global relationships and interconnectedness and apply this understanding to the study of specific issues such as geopolitical conflict, cultural differences, and environmental sustainability. |
