PHIL 0109 - Introduction to Philosophy of Religion

Credits: 3

In religious experience, human beings seek for something hidden and mysterious, something sacred beyond (or within) the ordinary objects and concepts of everyday life. Religious seekers from a plethora of traditions recognize something more fundamental, something more real, something ultimate and try to align themselves with it. But how? What can this possibly mean? Such philosophical questions raised by religious experience are the focus of this course.
