LSPA 0215 - Intermediate Spanish I

This course -the first of the Intermediate sequence- seeks to help students attain an intermediate-level of proficiency in Spanish. Students will be able to do the following: communicate about themselves, others, and everyday life; begin to communicate about social, academic, and work-related topics; expand their abilities to negotiate meaning, to compare and contrast, and to express opinions; and, improve their control of grammar. Students will learn more about cultural practices and products of the Spanish-speaking world, and will be able to make cultural comparisons between those cultures and their own.

Prerequisites: LSPA 0104 or equivalent (AP/CLEP, MA Seal of Biliteracy, etc.).
