BIOL 0382 - Seminar: Practices and Policies in Biotechnology

Each seminar will include an in-depth discussion of topics in the field of biotechnology. We will examine the development and application of various techniques used in the field with the goal of providing a deeper understanding of the industry and career opportunities. Guest speakers working in the biotechnology industry will be brought in to bring a real-world perspective to the class. Successful completion of the course will require a final research presentation focused on a modern topic in the field of biotechnology.

Prerequisites: BIOL 0156 , BIOL 0158 , and two of the following: BIOL 0203 , BIOL 0205 , or BIOL 0223 .
