This course examines individual behavior and group dynamics within nonprofit and public organizations, with an emphasis on theoretical frameworks, empirical research, and applied perspectives that enhance students' capacity to lead, motivate, and make informed organizational decisions. As part of the course, student teams collaborate with a community partner on a civic engagement project, applying course concepts to evaluate organizational practices and develop recommendations for more effective utilization of human resources in achieving a defined organizational objective.

Prerequisites: 6 graduate level credits or advisor approval.
