MUSC 0322 - Elementary Music Methods

Credits: 3

A field-based methods course emphasizing teaching strategies, curriculum development,  materials, repertoire, and developmentally appropriate practices for teaching music in elementary school.  Students will review how relevant theories and research inform the practices of teaching elementary music.  Twenty-five (25) hours of field experience in public schools are required with documentation.

Prerequisites: MUSC 0221 .
