HESC 0310 - Level I Fieldwork Pediatric Population

Crosslisted: This level I fieldwork experience will introduce Occupational Therapy Assistant students to fieldwork while working with children or adolescent populations. The goal of this course is to give students the opportunity to connect classroom learning to clinical practice. A variety of experiential learning modalities may be used including simulation, community work, and/or virtual contexts. Students will be expected to demonstrate competency for basic attitudes, behaviors, and procedures appropriate for entrance into practice
Prerequisites: Permission of the OTA Program Director
HESC 0125 OTA Practice I with a minimum grade of B.
HESC 0175 OTA Occupational Science I with a minimum grade of B.
