BIOL 0107 - Mindfulness for College and Beyond Credits: 1.5
This seminar offers students the opportunity to learn how to integrate and apply mindfulness practices in their everyday lives to address challenges arising from social, emotional, and academic stressors. By practicing meditation and complementary activities that cultivate awareness of the present moment with non-judgment and self-acceptance, students will develop skills to cultivate a sense equanimity to support their social, mental, and physical health, which can be utilized across students’ life spans and contribute to academic success.
