ART 0104 - Two-Dimensional Design

This course explores the basic fundamentals of two-dimensional design including balance, tension, format, movement, focal point, line, shape, form, pattern, texture, unity, and contrast. Those topics and theories will be explored through the artistic creative process and problem-solving exercises to understand two-dimensional compositional concepts. Classes will be a combination of studio time, lecture, class discussions, and critiques.
