ART 0108 - My Brand/My Story, Computer Graphics for Art Applications I

Visual stories are the foundation of what we define as “culture” and “society”, and as technology becomes more integrated in the fabric of our culture, graphics, animation, video, and augmented reality are the mediums that will continue to dominate the discourse. The objective of this course is to introduce students to graphic software applications within the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as introduce not-too-common tools within the visual discipline like After Effects, Aero, and visual research. This is a deep dive into students’ personal aesthetic, how they choose to present their work, and the journey into new technology for innovative practices in their future endeavors at Westfield and beyond.
