HIST 0132 - United States History Since 1900 Credits: 3
This course examines the history and government of the United States since 1900. Understanding the evolution of our nation’s civic principles is of vital importance to becoming an active participant in the democratic process. By exploring historical events and systems of government from 1900 to present, including civil rights, expanding definitions of citizenship, and changing laws and constitutional decisions, students learn about the democratic republic in which they reside. Not open to students who have taken HIST 0130 .
