ENGL 0109 - Digital Storytelling

The stories we tell have the power to reframe our thinking, provide healing, shape our interactions, foster connections, bridge divides, and even inspire others to persevere. In this class, students will have the opportunity to indentify defining moments in their lives and reflect on how those moments shaped their identities. Students will create a digital story, a mini-movie that depicts meaningful moments from their lives and conveys something they have figured out about themselves. This class covers the basics of storytelling and provides practice listening empathetically and providing and receiving feedback. The course will conclude with a digital story showcase.
