engl 0107 - Literary Experience: (Theme or Topic)
This course examines specific historical periods and compelling themes to establish connections between literature, the arts, culture, history, economic frameworks, as well as intellectual and social movements, by utilizing various instructional approaches. Throughout the course, students will develop the ability to identify the multiple dimensions of complex issues and formulate ideas for further inquiries. In the process of addressing these inquiries, they will critically assess information sources, apply logical reasoning, exercise critical thinking, and employ appropriate methodologies to arrive at well-grounded conclusions. The specific themes may vary by section.
