GEOL 0302 - A Sense of Place

This course is an interdisciplinary exploration of a natural place that is special to you. To increase your connection to this place and the living Earth, the course utilizes a range of disciplinary knowledge, investigatory techniques, and communication modes. Guest speakers and a local field trip will support learning about how individuals study and imbue meaning to a place. And ways to take action toward making human impact compatible with your place will be fostered.

Prerequisites: FYJ 0101 or ENGL 0101.
