MRKT 0315 - AI for Marketing and Management


Credits: 3

Students will explore introductory concepts and examples of how artificial intelligence (AI) is used in marketing and management. They will survey business use cases, organizations, leaders, and tools. Students will understand how AI can assist with prediction, data analysis, problem-solving, creativity, digital marketing, and other business functions. They will be introduced to AI through the lens of a marketer or manager, emphasizing the ethical and business implications. Introductory topics may include machine learning, neural networks, large language models (LLMs), recommendation engines, and generative AI. The course will evaluate AI’s history along with current and emerging trends.

Prerequisites: Junior or Senior status.
