GPS 0130 - Holistic Wellbeing: Navigating Self, Environment, and Mindfulness Credits: 1.5
Students explore holistic wellbeing by assessing their current state, setting personal growth goals, and examining environmental influences on their health. Through readings, research, and personal experiences, they analyze how factors like light, color, sound, nature, landscapes, and urban design affect their wellbeing. Students engage in mindfulness, meditation, breathing techniques, gentle exercises, and basic yoga postures to cultivate daily wellness practices. By the end of the course, students develop strategies to create supportive environments and integrate holistic practices into their daily lives.
