NURS 0300 - Nursing Care of the Adult and Older Adult

Credits: 9

Focuses on the care of adult and older adult patients and their families in more acute care settings. Content includes using critical thinking to make appropriate clinical decisions for developing and implementing evidence based professional nursing interventions to achieve appropriate patient outcomes. The integrating of theoretical and clinical knowledge in the care of adults/older adults with acute and chronic illness, synthesizing laboratory data, and the setting of priorities will be incorporated.

Prerequisites: BIOL 0239 , BIOL 0223 , NURS 0210 , and MOVP 0212 .
