Commercial Recreation and Tourism Minor

The Commercial Recreation and Tourism minor is interdisciplinary and includes courses from Economics and Management, Geography and Regional Planning, and Movement Science. It is designed to expose students to the unique issues facing the travel and transportation, hospitality, commercial recreation, and entertainment industries. Students will acquire skills in management, marketing, and operations in this expanding area. Through coursework and fieldwork, students will have the opportunity to evaluate this field for potential employment opportunities. Six courses (18 credits) constitute the minor. 6 Credits in residency are required.
