The Environmental Science Major consists 53-68 credits, depending on advising and the interests of the student. All students must take at least 21 credit hours from the list below at Westfield State University. A minimum grade point average of 2.7 in the Environmental Science major is required to be eligible to graduate with a degree in Environmental Science.
A course used to satisfy a required component of the major (either environmental science course or fundamental lab course) cannot be used to satisfy an elective in one of the three dimension areas (natural, human, or methods). A course used to satisfy an ENVS major requirement can be used to satisfy a minor requirement in ENVS, but no course may satisfy more than two requirements in the major and/or minors at one time.
