Requirements for the Nursing Major

Undergraduate nursing majors must maintain a 2.500 cumulative GPA from admission through graduation. If a student’s cumulative GPA falls below 2.500, they would be consquently dismissed from the nursing program.  The only exception is freshmen students with less than a 2.500 cumulative GPA in their first semester at WSU are not dismissed but must raise their cumulative GPA to 2.500 or above at the end of their Freshmen year. Nursing courses and science lab courses require a grade of “C” or better to remain in good standing.
