Education Minor

Students may choose to complete an 18-credit (6 course) Education minor consisting of EDUC 0215 and either EDUC 0208 or EDUC 0219 or EDUC 0220. The remaining four non-field-based Education courses are to be connected in focus (i.e., Early Childhood, Moderate Disabilities, Elementary) and after discussion with an appropriate advisor selected in consultation with the Department Chair. Education majors are not eligible for the Education minor.

EDUC 0215 - Theory of Critical Multicultural Education Credits: 3
EDUC 0220 - Schools in US Society Credits: 3
or EDUC 0208 - Teaching in U.S. Secondary Schools Credits: 3

or EDUC 0219 - Social Foundations of Early Childhood Education Credits: 3

Elective Courses (12 Credits)
