PHIL 0109 - Introduction to Philosophy of Religion

Introduction to philosophy through analysis of religious beliefs and values. Significant topics include the problem of the existence of god(s), the nature of faith, the nature of god(s) and reality, the question of religious revelation, the reliability of religious experience, as well as the sociological and psychological import of religious belief. Special attention is given to the fundamentals of critical analysis and the interpretation of original texts.
