LCHI 0101 - Chinese I

An introduction to Mandarin Chinese intended for students who have no previous experience with the language. Stress on listening and speaking proficiency. Students will be introduced to vocabulary necessary for simple interactions, basic elements of grammar, and the most commonly used characters of modern written Chinese.
