LACS 0101 - Introduction to Latin American and Caribbean Studies

Credits: 3

This is an interdisciplinary course that introduces Latin America (Mexico and Central and South America) and the Caribbean through a study of the culture, history, geography, politics, social and economic systems, and literature of the regions. Students will gain insight into some of the major historical events and cultural developments of the regions.
