LASL 0102 - American Sign Language II

Credits: 3

A continuation of LASL 0101  and its topics. Students will continue to develop American Sign Language knowledge and skills to communicate effectively with Deaf or hard of hearing individuals. In this specific course, students will focus on manual grammar and non-facial markers. Students continue to learn about American Deaf Culture, accommodation materials for Deaf and hard of hearing people, how to request appropriate people to facilitate communication between hearing and Deaf/hard of hearing individuals, and the use of alternative communication approaches.

Prerequisites: LASL 0101 .
