The Westfield State University MBA has been designed as a flexible online program that allows students to customize their degree by earning two distinct professional certificates during their coursework. Courses are offered in 15-week and 8-week sessions that can accommodate student work schedules. The 30-credit program can be completed in three semesters.
The MBA degree is earned by completing two certificates below and an elective and capstone course.

Certificate Requirements
All MBA candidates are required to complete the Business Leadership Certificate and one of the two additional certificates: the Business Analytics Certificate or the Global Sustainability for Business Certificate. Business Leadership Certificate (12 Credits)
Gain the skills, knowledge, and mindset to become an effective, transformative leader in today’s dynamic business environment by taking courses in Business Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence for Leaders, Marketing Leadership, Value Creation, Accounting for Business Decisions, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, and Negotiations. Business Analytics Certificate (12 Credits)
Develop data literacy skills critical for data-driven decision making and strategies formed by analysis through courses in Applied Business Analytics, Data-Driven Decision Making, Data Visualization, and Statistics for Business Analytics, and Marketing Analytics. Global Sustainability for Business Certificate (12 Credits)
Address the global challenges of climate change, inequality, and poverty by learning sustainable business practices to promote environmental responsibility, social responsibility, and economic growth. Study courses in Organizational Change for Sustainability, Sustainability Reporting & Analysis, Responsible Global Leadership, Sustainable Business Practices, and Planning Green Sustainable Cities. Elective Course (3 Credits)
Students may choose any MBA course not required in their chosen certificates or one course from the following list: |
